Production Output
In November, the combined output of power and energy storage batteries in China reached 87.7 GWh, up 13.4% month-on-month and 40.7% year-on-year.
From January to November, cumulative output reached 698.7 GWh, up 41.6% year-on-year.
Sales Volume
In November, total sales reached 84.2 GWh, up 12.3% month-on-month — power batteries 68.1 GWh (80.9%, +11.6% MoM, +22.6% YoY) and energy storage batteries 16.0 GWh (19.1%, +15.1% MoM). Energy storage battery sales grew slightly faster than power batteries.
From January to November, cumulative sales reached 641.8 GWh — power batteries 554.1 GWh (86.3%, +35.1% YoY) and energy storage batteries 87.6 GWh (13.7%).
Vehicle Installation Volume
In November, 44.9 GWh of power batteries were installed in vehicles, up 31.0% year-on-year and 14.5% month-on-month. NMC batteries accounted for 15.7 GWh (35.0%, +42.4% YoY, +27.5% MoM), while LFP batteries reached 29.1 GWh (64.9%, +26.0% YoY, +8.5% MoM).
From January to November, cumulative installations reached 339.7 GWh, up 31.4% year-on-year — NMC batteries 109.6 GWh (32.3%, +10.7% YoY) and LFP batteries 229.8 GWh (67.6%, +44.4% YoY).
Energy Storage
In November, combined exports reached 17.9 GWh, up 23.3% month-on-month, accounting for 21.3% of monthly sales — power batteries 13.0 GWh (72.6%, +13.5% MoM, +37.8% YoY) and energy storage batteries 4.9 GWh (27.4%, +59.7% MoM).
From January to November, cumulative exports reached 133.6 GWh (20.8% of cumulative sales) — power batteries 114.2 GWh (85.5%, +94.6% YoY) and energy storage batteries 19.4 GWh (14.5%).

In November, 37 power battery enterprises supplied installation matching for China's NEV market, 5 fewer than the same period last year. The top 3, top 5 and top 10 enterprises installed 33.1 GWh, 37.3 GWh and 43.2 GWh respectively, accounting for 73.8%, 83.1% and 96.2% of total installations.
From January to November, 49 enterprises supplied installation matching, 7 fewer than last year. The top 3, top 5 and top 10 installed 270.1 GWh, 299.1 GWh and 330.1 GWh, accounting for 79.5%, 88.0% and 97.2% respectively.
