Heinxs Color Sensor Application Case in the Pharmaceutical Industry
High-Precision Intelligent Color Sensor
- Heinxs HS-C21 Series -
01 Project Background
In pharmaceutical manufacturing, to ensure quality and maintain brand reputation, all bottles must be labeled.
02 Project Objectives
Accurately identify the presence or absence of labels on medicine bottles during fully automatic packaging.
03 Challenge
1. For traditional color sensors, detecting targets at a far and high position is a challenge;
2. The label of the small round bottle only exposes 1/3 at a time for detection, so the detection area is very small;
3. The bottles are made of transparent frosted material, and the bottle color is very close to the label color;
4. The label orientation is random and not fixed, so ordinary photoelectric sensors cannot achieve the desired effect.
04 Solution
1. The HS-CF70 color probe has a maximum detection distance of 90 mm, enabling long-distance color identification;
2. The HS-CF70 color probe has a minimum light spot diameter of 6 mm, greatly improving color recognition stability;
3. The HS-C21 series high-precision color sensor is very sensitive to color recognition, accurately identifying subtle color differences. Once a label is missing, the sensor outputs a signal as an alert.
05 Customer Feedback - Heinxs HS-C21 Series
Color sensors are widely used to identify and distinguish labels and product colors during production, assembly or packaging. In this project, the HS-C21 series color sensor was the most cost-effective solution. Customers are very satisfied with the accuracy and stability of our products. Heinxs will continue to maintain a rigorous, professional and enthusiastic service attitude to support the vigorous development of manufacturing.
